I think I am also going to include the Decemberists as part of "for fans of" because they have a very familiar vocal sound, except Neutral Milk Hotel is way better and less lengthy. Anyway this is probably their best release in my opinion and I noticed that there isn't any of their work on this blog. If you like lo-fi acoustic folk tunes, then this album, or better yet, this band is for you. The album lures you in from the very beginning, with the amazing King of Carrot Flowers, with a sound that I really haven't heard before in all honesty. I'm sure a lot of other people have, but I don't give a fuck. Kidding. Anyway, go please yourself to this album, then watch The Princess Brides.
