Struck By Lightning play a brand of almost Mastodon-tinged metal except while paying tribute to the likes of crusty hardcore acts His Hero Is Gone and Disfear at the same time. They also happen to feature the vocalist of Mouth Of The Architect, but as it turns out don't really sound like them all that much. Serpents is essentially hardcore influenced metal with a nod towards the likes of Tragedy, so I guess that technically makes it metalcore, although I'm hesitant to give it that label. Regardless of what you call it, it's really quite good and I imagine both metal and hardcore fans alike would enjoy it. Does that include you? Yes? Well then check it out already.
