I was a fan of the first Born of Osiris album, but I'm not really digging this new one. Its not bad its just all around...boring? Maybe because it is going up against summer heavyweights The Devil Wears Prada, The Dear Hunter, Miss May I and IWRESTLEDABEARONCE. Maybe when these albums wear down a little I will go back and give "A Higher Place" a deeper listen to...but I don't think it stacks up with these other releases. Try it!

Born of Osiris - Now Arise

Here is the first song from Born of Osiris' upcoming album A Higher Place. Now, something that I first hated about BoO was their production on their first album. The album honestly sounds like crap...but after a few listens it really becomes part of what they are. This new song has...well a lot better production value. The song is great, don't get me wrong, but I feel like I lost a part of them. Anyway I am very excited for this new album and to see them on this years Summer Slaughter!
