Kollaps Tradixionales is the sixth record from ambiguous post-rock quintet A Silver Mt. Zion (or as they're called on this release, Thee Silver Mt. Zion). This album sees major improvements in Efrim's voice; he can actually sing in tune whilst still retaining the emotional, cathartic qualities heard on his earlier work. The music itself accentuates the "rock" in post-rock, remaining rooted in dynamics-based song structure whilst incorporating a edgy, dirty quality that really sets it apart from it's contemporaries. Official release date isn't until February; leak is VBR.
