Um, wow? Why haven't I ever given Emery a chance til now? For some reason I always lumped them with the annoying teeny bopper bands, but... I suppose they shouldn't be. This album blew my mind completely out of my skull when I first listened to it. I had shit expectations and was completely proven wrong. It has the perfect blend of hardcore and melody; it's absolutely phenomenal. Not to mention the vocalist has a pretty sexy, silky smooth voice. :) To me, this is one of the best albums of the year so far.ALBUM: EMERY - ...IN SHALLOW SEAS WE SAIL
I found a copy of this cd at Newbury Comics (in Mass) for just $9. I love it, and wouldn't have bought it if I hadn't read about it on your site - which, I should mention, in awesome.
