I'm pretty sure this was the 5 song EP that The Word Alive had planned to release had Craig Mabbit stayed with them and not jumped ship for Escape The Fate. Its a sad story really. Although their new screamer/singer is alright, there is no way he can compare to Craig's vocals or intensity. Its a shame, The Word Alive, even with 3 songs under their belt was quickly becoming one of my favorite bands. Now I'm sure they will just fall into the vastly growing 'mediocre' pile of music I listen to. Hopefully I'm wrong and pull out something amazing, but I'm not holding my breath.
