You all know who John Frusciante is. This is his first and rawest solo release. Frusciante screams, yells, sings and whispers his sad tales while he strums and bangs on his guitar. This album is full of drugged out angst and sadness as he was heavily into cocaine and heroine at the time. Niandra is definitely an acquired taste so I won't demand that you enjoy it but I hope that you'll try.
