This was a request. I don't know much about this band other than what I saw on youtube just now and what I read on wikipedia. Apparently this guy started off as a solo act but slowly added members to his band as he grew in popularity in the Atlantic Northeast (that's America you goofy foreigners). Well, this guy plays a folky, slow type of music and has a very raspy, almost strained voice.

Little fun fact about this band: John McCauley (Deer Tick) came up with the name of his band after he noticed a Deer Tick spider on his body after a long hike. Oooookay, I'm done talking about something that I have no knowledge of....
