Clutch are a hard rock/blues rock band hailing from the dirty south. The band combines incredibly catchy and groove laden stoner, bluesy and hardcore riffs with vocalist Neil Fallon's complicated yet inticing lyrics (what he's talking about - no one knows). Blast Tyrant sees the band's first foray towards the bluesy side of their sound and the beginning of the departure from their hardcore origins and is an excellent -and fun- starting point for those who are interested in checking out the band.
