Fucking Epic! Two words that describe this album exactly. Ceremonial Castings play a brand of symphonic black metal that is equal parts crushing as it is melodic. Each song highly memorable and dark as fuck. The band takes us on a sweet journey across war torn lands ravished by lust and greed, corrupt from religion. From the mammoth 13 minute epic that is "Our Journey Through Forever" to the depressive yet extremely evil "Sweet Misery I Forsee" (listen to the piano, so hauntingly beautiful) the band knows how to write some awesome tunes. Even if you hate black metal give this a shot, you may just fall in love with them like I did.
