Sigh & Explode are a band from Norway thay sort of play screamo with a really melodic, post-hardcore edge to them. At times it's more post-hardcore than anything else, although there are definitely screamo influences in there. They also remind me of The Blood Brothers at times, although in a good way. The drums sound a little funny to me, but it's not really a bad thing I suppose, it's different. I'm not really sure where this band were trying to go with this and I think that's what makes me like it as much as I do. It's got 'epic' post-rock sort of bits and then kind of odd post-hardcore sections and some crazy experimental section which segues into another bit and, well, it's awesome. Half-assed descriptions aside, it's an interesting listen and if you're a post-hardcore fan you'll probably be into it. Have fun.
