In Search Of Solid Ground is a culmination of everything we’ve grown to love about Saosin. Cove’s vocals have never sounded so refreshing and crisp, the guitar work is just as piercing as it’s ever been, and Alex Rodriguez’s drumming remains spot on with his signature chaotic fills. It seemed impossible that the band would ever top their self titled debut, but In Search Of Solid Ground sees the band honing their sound, mixing with a multitude of emotions and sounds, and most importantly shows the band’s immense progression; this album is solid.
