Bounce Energy Hear Me Out is the incredibly fun debut album from the likes of New Jersey post-hardcore quartet Lady Radiator. It's a very refreshing outtake on an otherwise fairly stagnant genre that feels really crisp and exhilarating, showing a great deal of potential considering it's only their debut album, I've got a feeling these guys could really go somewhere. From an instrumental point of view the band are really tight, the guitarist churns out pounding riffs that sound really full and thick, yet retain a sense of melody and catchiness. The vocals are a highlight as well, the vocalist having an impressive higher register amidst yelps of anger, even if he does drop the f-bomb a few too many times. As a whole Lady Radiator strike me as something special, I'm definitely looking forward to whatever they do in the future (which should hopefully be soon considering this was released in 2007, unless they do a Glassjaw on us).
