After posting their music video a few days ago I dug a little deeper into Eluveitie. Turns out, they are a Celtic-Folk Metal band from Switzerland, and quite famous over there. One thing that really turns me on to this band is their uniqueness. Amongst the normal Guitar, Drums and Bass, the band also uses a Mandola, Whistles, Gaita, Bodhran, Violin, Bagpipe and...the Hurdy Gurdy. To be honest I don't even know what half of those instruments are. The other is their lyrics; instead of any of the languages currently spoken in their home country, the screams, clean vocals, and occasional spoken word parts are often in the extinct language, Gaulish. Definitly check them out, they are a very fun band to listen to. I cant get enough metal flute solos.
