Dir en Grey - Withering to Death

I've been a Dir en Grey fan since their Gauze/Macabre years and have witnessed their crazy changes in style: from standard visual kei to punk to metal...the list goes on and on. They are one of the most versatile bands in the world and they deserve to be recognized outside of Japan as the musical powerhouse that they are. Withering to Death is one of my most favorite albums that Diru have produced; musically it is diverse and beautiful, lyrically it's deep and moving. Although Kyo's voice can take some getting used to, everyone should try them out. And if this album doesn't satisfy you, I highly recommend Kisou for a more traditional Diru or Vulgar for a heavier record. Enjoy! :P
