Glen Hansard of The Frames and Markéta Irglová, his costar in their film Once, have come together to form their own band which they have named The Swell Season. And, boy, are they swell. They've released their first album, I just got it so I'm gonna listen to it now. I've heard "Falling Slowly" the main song from Once and it's great. I am sure the rest of the album will follow along. But yeah, definitely check it out. Glen has this awesome broken up voice and Markéta's voice makes for a perfect compliment in harmony.
