All That Remains put out their 4th studio album this past month titled Overcome. If you were as big of a fan of The Fall of Ideals as I was, you had big hopes for this album. The first time you listen to it, you may be disappointed. Vocalist, Phil Labonte, screams a bit less and sings a bit more, but the singing wasn't as it was on their last album. They take a more studio approach to it, but once you can get past this minor...minor annoyance, you will see Overcome does truly shine. It is filled with enough screams, solos and double bass to satisfy you until their next record.
