Summer Months is more emo a la Count Your Lucky Stars (Castevet, Empire! Empire! (I Was A Lonely Estate), The Reptilian) which raises the telling question- do they live up to their labelmates? Yes, but only barely. Joie de Vivre aren't very showy or incredibly unique, but their pretty brand of emo is one to cherish and love as the whiny vocals go just a little higher than they probably should and you wanna yell along with the singer "wooooaaaaaahahhhhhhhhhhh." Yeah, like that.

So, the Coachella line up came out today and I am fucking ecstatic! Mew is playing on Saturday along with a multitude of amazing bands. Oh my gahd, this album is so much fun. I am disappointed in myself for not getting this earlier (I just got it after seeing that they were playing)! Damn, I am scatterbrained at the moment and this post isn't making sense. Uhhh... Get this and dance!
